I have a need and have lived in McCracken Co for One Year

  • I do not have a house, mobile home, or property of my own.
  • I am homeless.
  • I live in an overcrowded place.
  • I live in a substandard home.

 

My gross income falls within the following guidelines:

I have the ability to repay the loan.

  • I pay my rent and other bills on time.
  • I have been employed for at least 12 months.
  • OR I receive disability.
  • I have not filed for bankruptcy in the last 2 years.
  • I do not have expensive debt.

I am willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity.

  • I will partner in a positive manner with Habitat until the house is paid in full.
  • I will work my sweat equity according to Habitat's current policy.
  • I will attend all required classes and meetings.
  • I will pay my house payment; insurance and tax payment, in full, on the first of every month.

 

United States Citizenship

I am (and co-applicant is) a citizen of the United States of America or a permanent resident.

I am married, divorced or single.

You must be able to provide the appropriate documentation.

Legal History

No member of my family that will live in the house has been convicted of a felony.
