Paducah-McCracken County Habitat for Humanity builds homes and strengthens families and communities. A habitat house is simple, decent, and affordable. It is small, low maintenance, and energy efficient. There are no frills—no basement, no garage.
We build simple, decent, affordable energy-efficient homes in partnership with qualifying low-income families.
Our 2026 Build Goal
Two Houses will be built in 2026, the cost of each house must be raised before it can be built. Each house will cost 135,000 and all building funds must be raised before construction can start. We're actively in the process of finding the homeowners for this project.

In 1999, my mom became a Habitat for Humanity homeowner, and that moment changed the course of our lives.
It's been 5 years since moving day for us, time surely does fly. Sometimes saying that almost feels unreal. It's been 5 years of making the house that I watched from the ground- breaking, to the concrete pour to the raising of the walls, to painting those walls to placing the final touches inside and outside, an actual home.
